Mentor Terms and Conditions Description: The Flock Project is a good idea generator which helps citizens take action on the causes community care about! Ideas posted on the online site will be selected by the community and supported by the Flock Project Team. The Flock Project Mentors provide their personal and professional expertise and agree to best support the awarded Project when time to implement. GOAL STATEMENT for the Flock Project Empowering residents to come together, recognize ideas, and work together to improve their communities. FLOCK PROJECT VALUES MISSION: To connect people and ideas with resources for social good. VISION: We envision a community like a flock of geese flying together, where all people hold the power to create positive change, for themselves and others. VALUES: Transparency, empowerment, equality, kindness, respect. Purpose and Commitment: Mentors will be asked to complete a “Flock Project - Mentor Application” for initial screening. If the chosen Flock Project matches that of their initial skill set, Mentors will be asked to submit a “Flock Project - Mentor Application Follow Up” giving more specifications on their passion and expertise. The Flock Project Committee will review all submitted “Flock Project - Mentor Application Follow Up” submissions and use “Flock Project - Committee Vetting Mentor Document” to determine the most appropriate Mentors for the awarded submission. The chosen Mentor(s) will be asked to support the awarded project by using their skills, expertise and passion. Mentors will be asked to participate in a 1 to 3 hour facilitated session outlining the relationship of the Mentor/Mentee relationship and the goals of the initiative. Mentors will be asked to sign the Mentee/Mentor Relationship agreement. Mentors will also be asked to complete a midpoint and final “Project Flock - Mentor Feedback Form” which they will present to the committee to give updates on the implementation of the awarded project. Completion of the “Flock Project - Mentor Application” will allow for your email address to remain on all email newsletters and mentor information related to the Flock Project for a period of 3 years unless otherwise stated. Mentors will be asked to be paired with their mentees for a period of 3 to 6 months.
